This will serve as a post for discussing running FOC Overmodulation on your board. I’ll get us started! All of my testing was done on the street or on the trail.
I run an ADV200 with a MKII SF HS and started with an overmod factor of 1.15. This was great on the street for me and I immediately noticed a little more headroom at the top end with LESS field weakening. It was a little sketchy at first but I noticed much better motor drive after doing another motor calibration.
1.15 never gave me errors on the street, and I even tested my motor drive all the way up to 95DC and pulled out a nosedive on the street at 33mph. I also noticed better efficiencies (~28Wh/mi to ~23-24Wh/mi @ ~25mph) cruising at high speed since Field Weakening is used less. This overmod stability rapidly changed on the trail however, as I started to get a lot of overcurrent faults, especially after freespins. I have since backed down to 1.1 with good results: no errors! I plan to hold it here and keep pushing.
