Pint V charging issue

After an overnight charge the VESC tool battery charge dial would read 100%, while the onboard white LED line would suggest something like 40%. After an hour or so of riding, the VESC tool would read say 80%, while the onboard white LED would be red. At this point I can no long switch the board off.

After another overnight charge, the same again. Alas, my board is no longer charging at all … the power charger flashes alternate red and green confirming some kind of fault.

Any suggested solutions would be very welcome? I’ve checked all cables for nipping etc and they seem OK. I did notice one of the fine inter battery wires was severed, and which I have rejoined together by forming a hook on each of the loose ends, which I then twisted together and protected with insulation tape.

I’ve ordered a replacement pint X battery from FM, which I understand comes in a “locked” form. Will I automatically bypass this issue because my board is already fitted with the Pint X BMS?

I’m fairly sure my Pint X BMS is healthy, but I guess it’s not impossible I have damaged this - how can I check? What would be the quickest way to get a replacement?

I think this may have let the bms cause issues with the battery

With a new Pint X battery installed, my VESC Tool is saying my battery is 100% charged, whereas the white LED in my footpad is suggesting ~40%?

Anyone know what the “39%” value displayed between the “Battery %” & “Temp Motor” dials indicates?
