Motor Twitching at 0 MPH

Hello! my first topic here. ive been building a XRV with a 3.1 lil focer on 6.05 software, Hypercore Motor, JW battery. Now I believe it has something to do with the hall sensors because after activating Refloat 1.0.1 the motor “twitches” at a standstill. Rides smooth as long as I don’t stop going in one direction. ive tried rewiring the hall sensor plug, two different lil focers, two motors, and reinstalling Refloat, resetting motor configs, IMU configs and nothings working. I’m stumped!

Did you verify that your IMU is set to 832Hz? Sometimes when setting the board up it will default back to 1000Hz and make the motor twitchy at a standstill.

  1. Go to Refloat CFG → Specs, and Disable Package. Then Write.
  2. Go to Motor CFG → FOC → Advanced, and set Speed Tracker Position Source to Corrected Position. Then Write.
  3. Go to Motor CFG → FOC → Offsets, and disable Calibrate on Boot. Then Write.
  4. Still in Motor CFG, tap the “…” in the bottom right, tap “Detect FOC Offsets”, and run that process. You will know it’s complete once the status bar at the bottom of the app turns blue.
  5. Re-enable Refloat Package and Write.

yes its hall sansors, they can come unseated from their little mounts along the pcb inside rhe stator? open up the motor, follow a. bearing change tutorial, once the stator us pulled find the one thats not like the others, push it back into place and hit it with super or hot glue. i was about to sell my original xr until i went that far down the rabbit hole in search of a fix. it sucks, but its literally an hour of work and its good as new, plus youll be comfortable changing your bearings when the time comes.
