Here is the way how to transfer VESC settings from Mobile to Desktop or vice versa. Or even from Desktop to Desktop or Mobile to Mobile

Backing up Configurations on Mobile
It’s important to wait for the App UI to load completely on VESC app before backing up. This ensures all three configuration types (motor, app, and float) are saved and transferred correctly.
- Open the VESC Tool app on your phone and connect to your board Wait until the App UI has fully loaded, which means all the relevant information and controls are visible on the screen.
- Locate the “Backup Configs” button in the app and tap it. This saves your motor configuration, app configuration, and Float Package configuration.
- Ensure all three configurations are saved. If the UI wasn’t fully loaded when you backed up, you might only save the motor and app configurations. In such a case, you won’t have your Float or Refloat configurations restored when you move to the desktop app.
Restoring Configurations on Desktop
- Open the VESC Tool app on your PC and connect to your VESC board.
- Again, ensure the App UI is fully loaded before proceeding.
- Locate the “Restore Configs” button in the desktop app and click it. This should restore the motor, app, and float configurations you previously backed up on your phone.
