GTV - Float Control - Flux Linkage warning

I’m using the stock GTV tune, stock GT motor, 6.5” hub, and battery, and it is riding really nice & smooth.

I didn’t (intentionally) change Flux Linkage in VESC Tool. It’s not immediately familiar to me from going through the setup guides.

Should I ignore this, or is it OK to futz with this setting as long as I stay within the boundaries?

As long as it rides fine, I wouldn’t stress it, just ignore :+1:

Sound good, thanks.

I did some experimenting in VESC Tool, and when I disable Float Control & rerun motor detection routines, this is what it finds:

I applied them & wrote them, and again my board rode pretty fine but with anecdotally marginally louder motor whining. I reverted back to my backup config & reenabled Float Control and it’s basically back to the stock GTV tune for me for a little while.

Thanks again, Nico!

You can fine tune ZVF (Zero Vector Frequency) setting in +/-0.1 adjustments and test ride after each adjustment until the motor runs the quietest to your liking and also test for any abnormalities while reaching higher speeds to look for any abnormalities like random nose dipping. ZVF helps with noise and smooth ride.
