Anyone able to successfully upload an image in a tune profile to customize it?
I have not had a problem previously… If you are having a problem, there is a discord channel where you can bring up questions or answers directly with the creator of the app.
I have the same problem 
The author of the app posted a reply (in a fb group) stating that the feature is currently broken and wouldn’t function until he releases an update to the app. No timeline was mentioned.

I visited the discord channel and did a search for Floaty. Floaty app, Simon (I believe the author) but couldn’t find any specific channel related to the Floaty app. Is there a way to connect to his channel inside the discord site?
